Nicholas started flyball at a young age. He started off ball shagging, holding dogs and ocasionally box loading for Play It Again when the dogs wouldn't throw him off the box. He didn't actually start racing dog's till he joined up with Up and Running. It was after he joined this team, he started training his own puppy Solo. He raced Solo and other dogs of his with Up and Running for a few years until Nancy and him decided it was time to start their own flyball team in Kingston. While starting a new flyball team from scratch, Nicholas began to race Solo with a team from Toronto named Cool Runnings. He is still a member of this team. He is in the process of training his Jack Russell Terrier named Keno for flyball. Her training is nearing completion and he is hoping for her to compete in her first tournament this upcoming year.
